Our wedding will be at the Carriage House at White Memorial, right across from the Nature Museum. It’s a simple, beautiful spot surrounded by forests and trails, and we love that it feels peaceful and relaxed. There’s plenty of parking, and it’s free and easy to access. If you want to come early or stay late, you’re welcome to explore the trails, go kayaking, or check out the museum—there are even rescued hawks and owls to visit!
Where to Stay:
Guests are also invited to stay overnight in the dormitories at the Carriage House. There are 30+ bunk beds, with bathrooms and showers available. We’ll provide basic bedding, though you may want to bring a pillow and a sleeping bag. It’s not fancy, but it’s going to be wonderful fun! If you’d like to stay over, please let us know when you RSVP.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Since we will be celebrating on the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos), please feel free to bring something special related to your loved ones who have passed. Learn more about ofrendas by watching this video!
Join us for a taco bar from 3pm to 5pm! We'll have a delicious variety of tacos and sides to choose from, with plenty of options for everyone including our vegan guests.
We hope for everyone to feel comfortable and confident and gorgeous. You can wear a tuxedo, you can wear your jammies. Please wear whatever makes you happy. Halloween costumes are welcome and even encouraged! The weather may be cool, so being mindful of that will be smart.
P.S. The bride will be wearing white!
Your presence is present enough! No gifts, please. If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund or make a donation to the White Memorial Nature Museum, that would be most appreciated.
We met when both of us were going through big changes in life, Robin was going to school and Sara was getting back out into the world after being sick
We spoke throughout Robin's night shift about everything from treasure chests filled with ice cream to politics. We became close friends and talked every day.
Sara even helped Robin get a date in collage, but thankfully they realized they were better for each other than anyone else could be
We met for the first time on a curb in Dyker Heights, NY next to a cab from the airport. We were both very nervous but excited.
We then spent a week together in an apartment in Williamsburg during which we visited the Met, went to three concerts in one day and Robin tried Taco Bell, American pancakes and Brooklyn Pizza for the first time!
Our first Halloween was spent at The Warsaw in Brooklyn where World Inferno were hosting Hallowmas. We rented a tiny apartment over a mexican resturant where we ate tacos before the show. When we got back we had more tacos from a taco truck across the street and finally we went out into the night looking for a choco taco for dessert at 2am (we managed to find one!)
We also went to a great party hosted by Nate and Kristen, enjoying burgers and making new friends!
Sara came and celebrated Halloween in Sweden. A party was arranged, a pumpkin carved and she made tacos al pastor for all the swedes to try. A spiked punch towards the end of the night got all the swedes absolutely wasted and as the guests stumbled home, Sara and Robin got locked out of the apartment, dressed as a hobbit and a unicorn.
Robin came over to the states and engaged in the time honoured tradition of trick or treat with Steph, Carey and Sara. They then went on a roadtrip through New England, visting fancy manors in Newport. And then finally they went to the wedding of David & Marissa Siffert, they dressed up as the wedding toast!
Last year they had a quiet Halloween with thier friends Steph and Carey, after going on a little trick or treat adventure together first. A lovely evening of Halloween themed snacks and games of Munchkin was enjoyed together.
